Enabling sandbox mode or debug mode disables Steam achievements. Using mods does not disable Steam achievements. Achievements are blocked no matter what kind of mod you activate. It's quite important information for any trophy hunter since it could cost us a whole extra playthrough if we are careless and forget to do the method I confirmed earlier.Arthmoor. My question is that if I complete a trophy while I have mods on, but then I load the game without mods, will the trophy unlock? For example: The trophy 'Apprentice' requires you to achieve level 5, but if I leave the game when I'm level 6 just to be safe, disable the mods, and load it again would the trophy unlock? After finishing the quest the trophy 'Unbound' popped. I started a new game with a couple of minor graphic mods and halfway through the first quest I quit the game and turned them all of and loaded it back up. I found out that having mods turned on will not permanently disable trophies on the save. I am an avid trophy hunter and Skyrim has a very easy platinum so it's a massive waste of time spending 100+ hours to get the platinum without having a single mod turned on.
I was very unpleasantly surprised when I tried to start a new game on my PS4 and the game told me that trophies will be disabled since I have mods turned on. Ok, I completely forgot about the possibility of trophies/achievements being blocked by mods.
